The Colchester Sun: As a person who once had to pay $97,000 for one ill-timed medical expense, and now over $9,000 a month, healthcare is for me not just a human right but a matter of life and death. Can America afford to slowly put to death 315 million people just because of costs?

A fully funded and comprehensive universal health plan must be available to each and every citizen not just the rich, few, and far between.

The falsely raised fear factors of cost and over-taxation is far outweighed by the simple truth: No one person can face, nor meet the needs or costs of full and comprehensive healthcare without a state and federally funded healthcare program. Vermont needs to move forward with a Green Mountain Care system, which provides all care to all people.

Sincerely,
