I am very upset that people think that the narrow vote for Shumlin is a vote against single payer. It might be a vote against the present health care system (or lack thereof) but I do not see it as a vote against single payer. Single payer and the present system have nothing to do with each other. The present system was forced on us by the feds. Single payer, as I’ve said many times, is the only way to go and the only problem with it is that it is not in effect right now.
